The loud noises from society and the world have led many to disconnect from their own body and intuition.

It is possible to quiet the chatter of the world and the mind, and learn to connect to you own intuition so it can help guide you toward resolutions and answers that are aligned with your highest self. 

I am a therapist and a coach. Let me tell you the difference between the two.

Therapy is about:

  • Understanding the past, doing the deep healing work to recognize the patterns you have fallen into and mindfulness is critical to doing the work to change those patterns.

  • Awareness is the first step and it is often the last, but you will be stuck in those patterns even when you’re aware unless you do the forward looking work of changing your actions and that requires the mindfulness component.

  • Therapy is process oriented and a powerful transformative tool for deep healing that helps you examine the past with compassion for yourself, work through unresolved emotions, learn how to sit through those difficult emotions while feeling supported by the Universe.

I also know that you can be very aware of how you got here and not be able to break out of patterns that keep you stuck. This is where mindfulness coaching becomes a critical tool to help you step into your future.

Mindfulness coaching is about:

  • Building awareness and breaking patterns that keep you stuck.

  • Setting goals that help improve the quality of your life and overcoming the challenges to make them happen.

  • Committing to a realistic step by step process of achieving the goal(s) you have intentionally selected for yourself.

My commitment is to empower and support your healing journey by creating a safe and non-judgmental environment to help you uncover your deepest truths and overcome your deepest fears so you can break out of your patterns.

I am especially passionate about incorporating spiritual approaches that help ground you to your inner wholeness and your connection with the web of life, while increasing understanding of the root of what you are struggling with, and supporting the regulation of your nervous system as you work through healing from old wounds. I guide you to discover and reintegrate all of the authentic parts of you that got lost sometime in your journey as a result of painful experiences and helping to alleviate anxiety, depression, grief, inner misalignment and other mental health symptoms that results from splitting off parts of yourself. Our bodies cannot heal when in chaos, they only heal in its restful state and in time you will find that it is possible to find relief from the stagnant emotions that have been weighing you down. It is possible to connect to your inner wholeness, strengthen trust in yourself through your connection to the Universe and to your intuition. Thus, helping you feel whole, worthy, positive, confident, compassionate, motivated, loved, present and accepted.

  • I am a first generation Mexican American in the US. I played basketball from elementary to high school, and have always enjoyed being athletic. I love discovering new cultures while traveling, trying new foods, being in nature, hiking, meditating, moving my body through dance and yoga, singing, learning about the arts of holistic healing, spending quality time with family and friends, as well as caring for my plant babies. I love holding meaningful conversations with others that help dismantle false internalizations stemming from the embedded oppressive systems in society. My personal struggles in life and witnessing the challenges my loved ones have encountered led me to pursue a career in the art of therapy and coaching to help equip myself with tools that support inner healing and to share these tools with those who I am fortunate to cross paths with.
